Methodology

Same prompt, blind taste, modest claims.

AI Duels compares tools on specific marketing, brand, and growth tasks. A result means “winner for this tested task on this date,” not “best AI overall.”

Blind review flow

Duel pages show the prompt and anonymous outputs first. Tool names, editorial read, pricing notes, methodology notes, and sources stay hidden until a visitor votes or opens a shared reveal link.

Voting behavior

MVP voting is local-only. The site stores one browser value per duel usinglocalStorage. There are no accounts, no backend vote collection, and no shared audience tally in this phase.

Seed content limits

The first five duels are editorial sample content for the MVP structure. Future production tests should capture fresh outputs, timestamps, model/settings notes where available, and pricing snapshots at the time of review.

Scoring criteria

Editors judge usefulness for the exact prompt: clarity, taste, specificity, memorability, constraint following, risk of invented details, and whether a marketing team could ship or learn from the output.

Affiliate and sponsored policy

AI Duels may add affiliate links later, but editorial winners are not for sale. Sponsored duels must be labeled before the content begins.
